Graduate Opportunities

The Brooks Lab is recruiting graduate students from the MS Chemistry, MS Biotechnology and MS Biology programs.

Graduate students are expected to commit their energy to a challenging research project in the area of antibody biotechnology and structural biology.

 

Students will be given opportunities to present their research at conferences, apply for funding, publish papers, mentor undergraduates and learn a variety of biochemistry lab techniques. 

Students who are interested in doing their graduate research should contact Dr. Brooks to inquire about potential research project. No prior experience is required.

Undergraduate Opportunities

The Brooks Lab is recruiting undergraduate students from the BA Chemistry, BS Biochemistry and BS Biology programs. Students will be expected to enroll in a independent project (CHEM/BIOL 190) and work a minimum of 3 hours per week in the lab.

Undergraduates can have their own independent project, or work to support a graduate student project. Students will learn a variety of biochemistry lab techniques, and will have opportunities to apply for funding, present their research at conferences and publish their research.
